Kristina Waggoner worked in large group dental offices for over 31 years as part of the Kaiser Permanente Dental team. Over 20 of these years were spent in a manager and supervisor role, successfully leading teams while also continually improving processes in 5 key areas: Safety, Quality, Budget, Service, and Employee Wellness. Year over year she and her teams delivered at the top of the dental offices in those important areas, and lead improvements that were used in all of the dental offices. She considers herself a servant leader who is never happier than when she has her sleeves rolled up working side by side with clinicians and business partners achieving great results! Her knowledge and experience extend to all types of general and specialty dentistry.
Her accomplishments include
- Regional Business Team Leader, Dental Revenue Cycle, for all business aspects of the migration into the Epic Wisdom module.
- Two time recipient of Kaiser Permanente Northwest’s Regional Manager of the Year award for exemplary contributions to workplace safety.
- Operations Leader for 13 years, overseeing and expanding Kaiser’s Free Dental clinics in Longview, Washington in partnership with the University of Washington Dental School, Clark College of Hygiene, and Community Health Partners.
- Developed and delivered training on Revenue collection at the time of service for all 21 dental offices, which in a 2 year period increased collections from 54% to 93%.
Implemented, onboarded, and managed Dental Agency Assistants for all Oregon offices 2021-2026
